New Construction / Retail
Foxhound Bee Company
Concept development from hand sketch to architectural vision, and a working building with a point of view.
Project Story
Design with a business purpose.
Foxhound Bee Company needed more than a building. The project called for a recognizable home for a growing brand, combining retail, customer experience and operational needs within a disciplined budget and accelerated delivery.
As the design developed, the building transitioned to a metal building system to align the architectural vision with budget and schedule. Rather than allowing that decision to diminish the design, the building system became a framework for a distinctive place rooted in Foxhound's identity.
Vision > Design > Reality
Built for the budget
The project shifted to a metal building solution as the design was refined to meet budget and schedule.
Built for the brand
Architecture, interiors and graphic moments work together to create an experience specific to Foxhound.
Built to move
A focused design and delivery process allowed the project to advance quickly and reach completion ahead of competing efforts.
Details turn a building into a brand.
Foxhound demonstrates how straightforward construction can still produce a highly specific sense of place. Color, material, lighting, pattern and custom details carry the identity throughout the building, from the retail floor to the smallest customer-facing spaces.

Film

He transformed what began as a standard square metal building into one full of character, featuring a front and side bump-out that incorporates reclaimed brick, adds visual depth, maximizes space, and highlights a large mural that has become a centerpiece of our new facility.
